Our research manuscript has been published in the Mountain Research and Development journal #MRD. Our interdisciplinary team from the Scientific Center of Zoology and Hydroecology NAS Armenia and BOKU University has developed a cultural ecosystem services assessment framework for rivers and floodplains in the Caucasus. Using mixed methods, we tested it in Dilijan National Park, Armenia.
This research was conducted as part of the EcoServ project, which focuses on ES assessment through a participatory approach for sustainable water resources management in Armenia. The project is funded by the Austrian Partnership Programme in Higher Education and Research for Development (APPEAR), a program of the Austrian Development Cooperation. The work was also supported by the Science Committee of the Republic of Armenia under research project no. 2rl-023.
